Feet Filter Nails
This policy explains how this application handles information and how to contact us about privacy.
Information we process
Feet Filter Nails stores game progress, the unfinished order, earned stars, salon furnishings, language, audio and accessibility settings on your device. A bundled level configuration and a downloaded configuration cache support offline play. The app fetches public configuration from our server. Anonymous score sharing is optional and off by default. If you enable it, the server issues a random installation identifier and secret, stored in the device Keychain, and stores the identifier, a hash of the secret, its creation time, and your best level number, stars and remaining actions. The public leaderboard shows only rank, stars and remaining actions, without the installation identifier. No name, email, password, contacts, photos, location or advertising identifier is requested. Like other HTTPS services, Railway infrastructure receives network addresses and request metadata when the app or a browser contacts it. The application uses network addresses temporarily in memory for rate limiting, not in its game database.
How we use information
Local data lets you resume orders, unlock clients and decorate the salon. Downloaded configuration provides the game rules while the bundled version remains available offline. If enabled, anonymous scores support optional comparison with other players. Installation credentials authorize submitting and deleting only your installation’s scores. Network metadata and temporary rate limits support delivery, security and troubleshooting. Visiting this policy does not require a login or cookies.
Service providers and sharing
The backend and public privacy page are hosted on Railway, which processes requests and infrastructure information to operate the service. Public leaderboard visitors receive rank, stars and remaining actions only. The app includes no advertising, analytics, social sign-in, email delivery or other third-party SDKs. Data may be disclosed when legally required or necessary to protect the service. The developer does not sell personal information.
Data retention
Local game files and settings remain until you remove the app or otherwise remove its local data. The configuration cache may be removed by iOS. Keychain credentials can persist after app removal and are restricted to this device; reinstalling is not a guaranteed recovery method. Server scores remain until you use the deletion control or the service is retired. The installation identifier, secret hash and creation time remain after score deletion so that authorization continues to work. Temporary rate-limit entries expire and are removed during subsequent request processing or a server restart. Railway may retain infrastructure logs or provider-managed backup copies under its own operational policies; this application does not set or promise a specific retention duration for those copies. No separate application backup schedule is configured.
Deleting your information
In Settings, choose Delete my online scores while connected. The server verifies your device installation secret and deletes that installation’s score rows from the live database; other players’ records are unaffected. The control also switches off sharing and clears pending local uploads. Local progress remains. Installation authorization records are retained as described above. Removal from existing provider-managed backups, if any, follows the provider’s lifecycle rather than an immediate erasure guarantee. To remove local game files, delete the app through iOS. Without the installation secret we cannot verify ownership of a particular anonymous score or restore access to it.
Permissions and your choices
The app does not request access to location, camera, microphone, photos, contacts, notifications or tracking. Music, sound, haptics, reduced motion and language can be changed in Settings. You can turn off anonymous score sharing at any time to stop future uploads and discard pending uploads. Previously uploaded scores remain until you delete them. Public configuration requests still occur when the app opens or you retry the connection; offline play remains available without an internet connection.
Your privacy rights
For privacy questions or requests, contact lucinda.silverleigh@icloud.com. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing, object to processing, or complain to a relevant authority. You can inspect and delete installation scores using the app controls. We may need enough information to verify a request, but do not ask you to send your installation secret by email. There are no user accounts or cross-device sign-in recovery.
Security
The deployed API uses HTTPS. A random per-installation secret is kept in the iOS Keychain with device-only accessibility; the server stores its cryptographic hash and verifies it before score changes or deletion. The client contains no shared server credential. Requests have size and rate limits, and database queries are parameterized. Local saves use iOS file protection and atomic writes. Application logs intentionally omit request bodies and credentials. These safeguards reduce risk but cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
The game is intended for casual players aged 10 and above, including younger players where permitted by their parent or guardian. It does not require a name, contact information, account or permission to play. Anonymous score sharing is optional and disabled initially. A parent or guardian can keep sharing off or use the online score deletion control. Contact the privacy email if you believe a child has provided personal information to the service.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the game, hosting or data practices change. The effective date displayed on this page identifies the current version. Material changes will be reflected in the policy and, where appropriate, in the app. Review this page periodically and contact lucinda.silverleigh@icloud.com with questions.
